I'll admit it, I'm addicted to using dirty DK for all my acrylic yarn requirements.
It's colourful, it works up amazing, it is reluctant to pill, and its rare that I'll get a factory knot.
The price? Chefs kiss.
If you put a gun to my head and tell me to give you 1 thing that I dont like... I guess I'd have to say the colour range could be increased.
Thanks so much SOF team. Amazing work!
Absolutely loving this yarn. It's not scratchy, the way it is woven is fantastic for amigurumi and it give such clear stitch definition.
First time buying from this company and a got a few different colours of Dirty DK, and this is so nice and easy to work with. The colours are so vibrant, and it’s really soft. Definitely obsessed with this
Looking for replacement for Hobbii DK ranges for textured blankets. This is not it. The yarn is soft, glides on the hook but the yarn is denser, I think? I had to go up several hook sizes to get a reasonable drape with textured stitches. I may try again down the track. I was determined to make something so tried a beanie (yarn did not make great pom poms but then neither do I!!) and then a hexicardigan. For me, it works up bulkier than DK but I loved it. No pilling. Yes, there’s factory knots and splitting, but I haven’t found a yarn that doesn’t do that. Hoping there will be more colours because my girls love their cardigans and one is contemplating several for work!
The colours in the DK are fantastic, bold and bright. The yarn is so soft and luscious, the best yarn I've used in my 20 years of crocheting
