Unreal Chenille 100g

I love all of the Unreal Chenille range. It feels nice. It’s consistent. It doesn’t shed much (only a piece or two off the end when sewing or first cut). It’s durable and withstands a bit of repeat frogging and sewing in amigurumi. It’s my go to for quality chenille. Love the colour range too! I usually use a 6.5mm hook and crochet with high tension out of habit.

I bought this yarn to make a quick baby blanket. It's my first time using a chunky synthetic yarn, and I'm delightfully surprised at how good it feels to crochet with and the lovely fabric it is making. I've come across one knot per ball so far, so keep an eye out for them. I have yet to wash the blanket, so I can't comment on the yarn overall - however my initial thoughts are that I love it and will be proud to gift the blanket. Also very happy to support SOF who are a breath of fresh air in our maker community. xxx
