I started a beaded blanket with pony beads using bamboo viscose from spotlight as Aran & Eve (at the time) had yet to be restocked ofter it was remanufactured. The bamboo viscose was uwful, the strands kept coming appart and started pilling before i had even finished the blanket. I was ready to give up at row 46/200 because at this spent had already spent 40+ hours on the project.
I decided to bite the bullet and buy 2 balls of the A&E and stwrt from scratch 😅 and OMG I'm soooooo glad i did.
The new blanket looks so beautiful and even. Its also a higher worsted weight so its much more plush. I am also having faaaaar less issues with the yarn splitting. I will note there is still some splitting, but i assume this is because I'm having to use a 3mm hook to fit through the pony beads. On the row where i can switch back to using a 5mm hook (recommend) there's much less issues. You guys said I wouldn't regret it and I don't 🧡
Highly recommend this yarn, will purchase again and I'll also be back for another 4 balls to finish my blanket 😂

"On Wednesdays, we crochet with Aran & Eve." 💅
It’s luxurious AF. Like, 'you can't knit with us' unless you bring snacks and good lighting.
Every stitch feels like it’s about to spill tea and then bless your project. You could literally make a potato cozy and it would still look couture.
"This yarn is so good, I told my therapist about it."
Pilling? She doesn't even go here.
It stays smoother than Karen's brain during calculus. I tried to rub it between my hands like an over-caffeinated raccoon and it just sat there unbothered. Icon behavior.
"Stop trying to make fuzz happen. It’s not going to happen."
And the colour palette? She’s not a regular yarn. She’s a cool yarn.
It’s giving "I just renovated my life in muted terracottas and cashmere creams." Every skein is like a perfectly curated fall outfit with boots, a PSL, and unearned confidence.
This yarn didn’t just upgrade my croheting—it upgraded me. I now only respond to compliments. My WIPs are thriving. My enemies? Jealous. My projects? Burn Book-worthy (in a good way).
Aran & Eve by Source of Fibre: because life is too short for ugly yarn.
I bought the yarn to do beanies for my grandkids and omg it’s great. 👍 love it. Will be buying more.
Although I haven't actually used my yarn yet, it has a lovely 'hand feel' too it... it's soft and squishy which I love; and I'm sure it will crochet up beautifully
