I love the Cornille yarn. I bought some to make some plushies, because a lot of the chenille Iāve tried at the big chain stores keeps snapping and shedding like crazy. This glides like butter over my hooks, and itās surprisingly easy to see my stitches with it. And itās so soft too. But I canāt compare it to the SOF chenille because I havenāt tried that yet, because Iām too obsessed with the cornille. Iām hoping some new colours get released eventually!
I have made many plushies and amigurumi using chenille yarn and have loved that yarn. I bought Cornille to compare it with my other yarn. Cornille is lovely to work with, does not shed like the other brands (that is a plus) and my first two bear snugglers, came out so soft and cuddly. I used 5.5mm hook for pink one and 6.5mm hook for the blue one. I am excited to try other colours.
Recently finished a blanket for our bed using the Flannel, Haze & Snowfall colours and absolutely adored the way the yarn just slid off the hook. Itās very quick and comfortable to work up and couldnāt be happier with the result! Still needs to be washed and blocked, but looking forward to using it for many winter nights to come!
I only opened my parcel a few minutes ago so I havenāt worked with it yet but my first impression was an immediate want to cuddle it. It really is incredibly soft and I canāt wait to see if it glides on the hook as smoothly as I think it will. It really is so soft, really big difference to the Unreal Chemille, which is of course soft but more dense squishy rather than cloud squishy like this. So disappointed that I was careful with my order and didnāt go bonkers like I wanted to š
I recently ordered some Cornille yarn to make an amigurumi project and oh my gosh I love it! Itās the softest, non shedding plush yarn I have ever used and the colours are gorgeous. I definitely recommend it ā¤ļø
