Dk yarn is excellent even as a beginner crotchet it is nice to use and vibrant colours are spectaular. Will be returning to purchase more in the future
I used this yarn in the shades Panther and Angora to create the flowers on this stunning jumper (pattern by @/cucurucu_crochet on ig). This yarn feels really squishy and soft and has lovely stitch definition when it works up and given the texture of it, I do not see it pilling. I can definitely see myself using this yarn again in the future. The only thing that could make this yarn better for me is if it came in a few more blue and purple shades because I really gravitate towards them for my projects.
This yarn is quite different to any acrylics that I've worked with before. The yarn is 5 strands tightly spun together to form a cord-type yarn. I used it for a freehand sweater with a 7mm hook. I didn't have any issues with splitting, and it was surprisingly easy to weave in my ends with a big eye tapestry needle. It's quite springy, so I'm not sure how it would work for amigurumi. I'm sure I'll be ordering more of it in the future!
I’m not usually a fan of 100% Acrylic … but I found Dirty DK to be soft to work with (not rough or squeaky on my hook) and the colours are vibrant.
